What QueueFairy Is
QueueFairy is a free planning tool for Walt Disney World visitors. It shows live ride wait times, Lightning Lane availability, and helps you plan your park days.
QueueFairy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company.
What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
- Party members — names, ages, heights, and thrill/sensitivity preferences for your travel group, which may include information about children
- Day plans — your park plans, Lightning Lane bookings, ride priorities, and Go Live progress
- Group membership — if you join a group, your user ID is associated with that group so members can share plans
We also store some data locally on your device (via localStorage) for faster loading, including done-ride tracking and UI preferences like dark mode.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the QueueFairy service:
- Displaying your plans, party members, and progress
- Syncing data across devices and group members
- Filtering rides based on your party's height and thrill preferences
We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. We do not send marketing emails. We do not track you across other websites.
Children's Privacy
Party member information (ages, heights) may include data about children under 13. This data is provided by the account holder (typically a parent or guardian) and is used only to filter rides by height requirements and thrill levels.
We do not knowingly collect data directly from children. If you believe a child has created an account without parental consent, please contact us.
Where Your Data Is Stored
QueueFairy uses Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) to store your account and plan data. Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers. Google's privacy practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase Authentication — handles sign-in (email/password and Google sign-in)
- Cloud Firestore — stores your plans, party, and group data
- themeparks.wiki — provides live wait time and Lightning Lane data (no personal data is sent to this service)
- Vercel — hosts the application
Group Sharing
When you create or join a group, all group members can see shared plans, party members, and Go Live progress. Only share your group code with people you trust. You can leave a group at any time from your profile.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. If you leave a group, your user ID is removed from that group's member list.
Cookies
QueueFairy does not use tracking cookies. We use localStorage (not cookies) to store UI preferences and session data on your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy as QueueFairy evolves. Significant changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
